Accounting Assistant

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist HR and Finance team leader with accounting tasks.
2. Assist in bank reconciliation
3. Prepares check payment for supplier and medical payments.
4. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of the payment database

REGULAR TASKS:
1. Monitor and process payment for accounts payable
2. Assist departments in account reconciliation process
3. Extract detail payment report (DPR) and validate the transactions.
4. Escalate validation findings to the department involve and monitor resolution
5. Performs check assignment and prepares the check vouchers.
6. Generate the payment information sheet (PIS), form 2307 if applicable and CV to support the payment
7. Prepares check transmittal for checks routed for signature.
8. Ensures that medical claims from the providers are attached to the payment tor signature/approval.
9. Carry out ad hoc assignments

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of accountancy or any related course.
2. With at least 1 year related work experience
3. Good experience in MS office applications (excel, word, ppt).
4. Analytical and keen to details
5. With good written and verbal communication skills
